Three porch thieves arrested in Lynnwood packages and mail returned

Lynnwood police apprehended three suspects Thursday morning after responding to a report of a package theft in the 4800 block of 182nd Street Southwest. The male suspect had outstanding warrants and was in possession of stolen mail and a gaming card box linked to the theft. One female suspect matched the video evidence showing a woman stealing a package, while the other carried two boxes of gaming cards and a concealed package. Police found illegal weapons on the male suspect during the arrest. Officers successfully returned some of the recovered items to their rightful owners.

The reporting party provided surveillance footage to the police, aiding in the identification of the suspects. Officer Jerome Riener emphasized the importance of community vigilance regarding package theft. He recommended residents retrieve mail and packages promptly to deter thieves.
