Volunteers needed for Sounds of Africa Festival Aug. 15-16

The Washington West African Center is recruiting volunteers for the Sounds of Africa Festival, scheduled for August 15-16 at Garfield Park in Everett. This festival aims to celebrate diversity and promote cultural exchange by featuring traditional African food, music, and fashion. Attendees will interact with vendors offering a variety of goods and local businesses providing information. Volunteers will assist with setup, traffic control, and food distribution, among other roles. This annual event highlights the Center's vision of a vibrant and empowered West African community in Washington.
