Updated Lynnwood primary election results Owings holds strong against Binda, Escamilla maintains lead

Derica Escamilla maintains her lead in Lynnwood's primary elections for Position 1, receiving 47. 28% of the votes counted as of Thursday. Dio Boucsieguez follows with 34. 95%, while Brandon Kimmel has 17. 38%.

In Position 3, Bryce Owings, a newcomer, leads with 34. 83%, surpassing incumbent Josh Binda at 33. 3%. Tyler Hall remains competitive with 31. 37%.

Lynnwood's voter turnout is reported at 24% of the 23,736 registered voters, indicating active participation in the electoral process. Initial results were released on Tuesday and will be updated every weekday at 5 p. m. , with official results to be certified by August 19. The significance of these races lies in the potential shift in council dynamics with newcomers challenging incumbents.
