Another 122M from opioid settlements now available to Washington
More than 100 local governments in Washington can now access $122. 2 million from settlements with Purdue Pharma and eight generic opioid manufacturers, including Alvogen and Mylan. The funds are intended to combat the opioid epidemic and will be distributed over 15 years, with much of the funding available in the first three years. Signups opened on Monday, with a critical deadline for the Purdue Pharma settlement set for September 30.
