Sponsor spotlight Edmonds Arts Festival looking for volunteers

Lynnwood, WALocal News

The Edmonds Arts Festival is recruiting volunteers for director positions to help organize its 2026 event. Interested individuals can join a meeting on July 23, 2025, at Brigid’s Bottle Shop to explore the available leadership roles. Festival directors play a vital role in planning the event, which has been a cherished part of the community since 1958. Each September, around 35 directors gather to kick off planning, fostering friendships and generating excitement. The festival showcases visual art, live performances, and local cuisine, drawing thousands of attendees each year.

Profits from the festival benefit the Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation, which awards scholarships and supports local art initiatives. The 2026 festival will take place over Father’s Day weekend, June 19-21, at the Frances Anderson Center. This event not only enriches the community’s cultural landscape but also strengthens local bonds through shared artistic experiences.
