On July 24, 2025, the National Hire-A-Vet Day Job & Resource Fair will be held from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m. at Mount Tahoma High School in Tacoma.

This event will host over 60 employers, including those recognized through the YesVets program for their commitment to hiring veterans. Job seekers can find both full-time and part-time positions, while community organizations will offer resources such as resume and interview assistance. Washington Department of Veterans Affairs Director David Puente Jr. noted the fair's role in bringing together state, private, and federal agencies to support veteran employment. Attendees can register online in advance to post resumes and schedule meetings with potential employers, with registration and parking provided at no cost.

Experts from WorkSource will be available to help improve attendees' job application skills. The fair represents a significant opportunity for military members and their families to connect with employers dedicated to their hiring. This initiative aligns with ongoing efforts in Washington state to recognize and support veteran employment initiatives.
