Several injured after DUI suspect T-bones vehicle during Lynnwood, WA pursuit

Snohomish County deputies arrested a 33-year-old man for DUI after a high-speed pursuit in Lynnwood ended with a serious crash. The chase began just before 10 p. m. when deputies attempted to stop the suspect's vehicle due to reasonable suspicion of DUI. The suspect exited I-5, leading to a T-bone collision with an uninvolved vehicle that had five occupants, including two minors.

A total of seven people required hospitalization, with the passenger in the suspect's vehicle suffering non-life-threatening injuries. Following medical clearance, the driver was booked into Snohomish County Jail on multiple charges, including DUI (drugs) and reckless endangerment. This incident underscores the dangers of impaired driving and the potential for serious consequences for both the driver and innocent bystanders.
