Sound Transit to run extended Link 1 Line service for July 4

Sound Transit will extend Link 1 Line service on July 4, providing extended hours until 2 a. m. to accommodate Independence Day celebrations. Operating on a Sunday schedule, the last train to Lynnwood City Center will depart from Angle Lake Station at 1:40 a. m.

on July 5, while the final train to Angle Lake will leave Lynnwood City Center at 1:48 a. m. ST Express bus routes will maintain their normal Sunday schedule, but the Sounder N Line will not operate on this holiday. Passengers can utilize Sound Transit’s trip planner for travel planning, ensuring they have access to timely transit options. Additionally, riders can subscribe to email service alerts for updates on schedule changes and weather-related information.

This extended service aims to enhance accessibility for those celebrating the holiday, reflecting Sound Transit's commitment to community needs. As local events often draw larger crowds, such adjustments are vital for efficient public transportation.
