House of Wisdom students and tutors of the month for June 2025

The My Neighborhood News Network has launched a partnership with the House of Wisdom to feature immigrant students and their aspirations. Ian, a seventh grader, has attended the program for over two years and hopes to become a veterinarian. Luis, a student at Shoreline Community College, plans to pursue marine biology at the University of Washington. The initiative also recognizes tutors Hannah and Anna, both dedicated to fostering student growth. Hannah, an educational studies major, is committed to becoming a math teacher, while Anna aims to teach multilingual children and open a multicultural school.

This program highlights the importance of educational support for immigrant youth in Lynnwood, showcasing their potential and aspirations. The collaboration underscores the community's dedication to nurturing local talent and providing resources for future success. By spotlighting these students and tutors, the House of Wisdom aims to inspire others in the community.
