Meadowdale HS Key Club members receive Kiwanis Club of Edmonds scholarships

The Kiwanis Club of Edmonds awarded $2,000 scholarships to Meadowdale High School seniors Grace Shwaiki and Satee Gaim for their exemplary service and leadership through the Key Club. Advisor Jenae Kirby noted Shwaiki's high GPA and significant contributions, including leading the Key Club and Yearbook, as well as volunteering at food banks and tutoring. Gaim, a strong leader in both Key Club and the Associated Student Body, excels in academics with AP courses and a dual program. She also volunteers at Clothes for Kids and teaches Sunday school. These scholarships reflect the Kiwanis Club's commitment to supporting youth who demonstrate leadership and community involvement.

Shwaiki plans to study architecture at Cascadia College, while Gaim aims to pursue engineering. Their accomplishments underscore the impact of student leadership on local communities. Both students are poised to make significant contributions in their future educational and career paths.
