Public invited to learn about SR 99 Lynnwood, unincorporated Snohomish County Pre-Design Study

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) invites public participation in the SR 99 Lynnwood and unincorporated Snohomish County Pre-Design Study through an online open house until July 28. This initiative aims to gather community input on enhancing safety and accessibility for pedestrians, cyclists, and transit users along SR 99. The study area stretches from 212th Street Southwest in Lynnwood to Airport Road, just south of Everett. WSDOT plans to analyze the feedback collected to refine improvement concepts, which will be presented in a follow-up online event. Free WiFi access is provided at various libraries, including Lynnwood, Mariner, and Mukilteo, to facilitate participation.

The information related to the study is available in English and six other languages, promoting inclusivity. This study reflects ongoing efforts to improve transportation infrastructure in the region. Engaging the community now will help shape safer and more accessible transit options in the future.
