Two homes under construction damaged in early morning fire in Everett no injuries

At approximately 1:00 a. m. on February 19, 2025, the Everett Fire Department responded to urgent calls about a fire at two homes under construction located at 1900 Lombard Avenue. Firefighters arrived to find one home completely engulfed in flames, which spread to a second building, resulting in significant exterior damage. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported to civilians or first responders, and the fire was contained within 20 minutes.

The rapid response prevented further damage to the surrounding area, although minor damage occurred to a nearby existing home and gazebo. Snohomish PUD was called to manage downed power lines caused during firefighting operations, leading to temporary road closures that were lifted around 2:00 a. m. The Everett Fire Department expressed gratitude to its automatic aid partners for their assistance in this incident. Currently, the Everett Police Department is conducting an investigation into the cause of the fire, with no suspects in custody at this time.

The community can take solace in the effective response of the fire department, which averted potential injuries and further property loss.
