Everett Transit seeks public input on fall 2025 service change proposal

Everett, WALocal News

Everett Transit is actively seeking public input on its proposed service changes for Fall 2025, aimed at improving regional connectivity and overall system efficiency in South Everett. The proposal includes three options—A, B, and C—each designed to provide better access to key locations such as schools, parks, and employment centers. Option A introduces a new route, while adjustments to existing Routes 12 and 29 are common across all options. Additionally, the proposal considers expanding service on major holidays, including New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day, to better serve the community. Public engagement is a priority, with an online survey launching on March 6, 2025, and several open house events scheduled throughout March for community members to learn more and provide feedback.

Everett Transit emphasizes that community input is crucial in shaping the final service plan, which will be published in June 2025 and implemented in September 2025. This initiative reflects Everett Transit's commitment to enhancing public transportation services and meeting the needs of its residents.
