Thursday Fire at Woodhaven Apartments in Everett

Around 7:45 PM on Thursday, the Everett Fire Department was dispatched to a fire at the Woodhaven Apartments on Fowler Ave. Upon arrival, crews found flames erupting from the second floor, prompting swift action to control the blaze. Witnesses noted heavy black smoke and flames, leading to commendations for the firefighters’ professionalism. Eleven residents from Building C were displaced, but fortunately, no injuries occurred. Fire crews conducted operations on the second floor and the roof, successfully completing their overhaul efforts.

Investigative teams have started looking into the fire's cause. The Woodhaven complex, located at 4632 Fowler Ave, has faced similar incidents in the past, raising concerns about fire safety. Local officials are expected to assess fire safety protocols in the aftermath of this event.
