A 19-year-old Everett man crashed his vehicle into a Marysville home early Sunday, causing injuries and significant structural damage. The collision occurred around 5:45 a. m. in the 5400 block of Sunnyside Blvd. Firefighters secured the residence to prevent collapse, while the homeowner, who was inside at the time, evacuated safely without injury.

The driver sustained injuries that required hospitalization and may face charges as the investigation continues, with impairment suspected as a contributing factor. Marysville Police emphasized the dangers of impaired driving and recommended alternative transportation options. The city has labeled the home uninhabitable until a structural engineer can assess the damage. This incident highlights ongoing concerns regarding impaired driving in the area.
