On March 6, 2013, Everett Police arrested two men for Sexual Exploitation of a Minor in connection with bikini barista stands. Bill D. Wheeler Jr. , 29, a co-owner of the businesses, was booked into Snohomish County Jail. The second suspect, a 27-year-old co-owner, was released, pending a review of potential charges.

Earlier, four baristas, including one minor, faced arrests in this ongoing investigation. Police executed search warrants at the Grab-N-Go coffee stands to gather evidence, highlighting the seriousness of the situation.
