Burn Ban In Effect Today Through August 31st

Everett, WALocal News

The Snohomish County Fire Marshal has imposed a burn ban from July 1 to August 31, 2025, affecting Everett and surrounding areas. Under this ban, residents can enjoy recreational fires and use gas or charcoal grills, while all other outdoor burning activities are prohibited. In Everett, recreational fires must be monitored continuously and kept at least 25 feet away from any structures or combustible materials. A water source, such as a charged hose or a five-gallon bucket, must be readily available during these fires. The city also strictly prohibits the use of fireworks, which aligns with safety measures during the dry season.

Despite the ban, Everett will still celebrate the 4th of July with a parade and concert. The regulations are designed to minimize fire risks and ensure community safety in high-risk conditions. Residents are urged to comply with these guidelines to prevent potential fire hazards during the summer.
