Floretum Garden Club accepting applications for educational gardening grants

Edmonds, WALocal News

The Floretum Garden Club is accepting applications for educational gardening grants of up to $1,000 for schools in the Edmonds School District for the 2025-2026 academic year. These grants aim to support and encourage gardening activities and horticultural education, allowing schools to develop garden spaces or implement classroom projects related to horticulture. Eligible applicants include school administrators, teachers, and designated representatives, with applications due by November 21. Funds will be awarded in January 2026 and will be distributed directly to the school through the principal. Recipients must submit a report by the end of the school year detailing their project's progress.

This initiative reflects the club's commitment to enhancing educational opportunities in gardening and horticulture for local students. Last year's grant winners can be explored through the Floretum website. Interested individuals can find further information and the application form at www. floretum. org/scholarships-grants.
