Friends of Edmonds Library annual members meeting Nov. 20

The Friends of the Edmonds Library will host its annual members meeting on Thursday, Nov. 20, from 3-5 p. m. in the Community Room at 650 Main St. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Eric Howard, the new executive director of Sno-Isle Libraries, who will discuss his vision for the library.

A budget update will also address the growing needs of the library as it seeks to enhance its services. The meeting will culminate in the announcement of the Friends of the Edmonds Library 2025 Scholarship Winner, highlighting the organization's commitment to supporting local education. Light refreshments will be provided, making the event an inviting gathering for community members. The public is welcome to participate, underscoring the library's role as a community hub. Engaging local residents in library initiatives fosters support for future projects and services.

This meeting reflects the ongoing efforts of the Friends group to promote literacy and library use in Edmonds.
