Edmonds American Legion and VFW Posts to host Veterans Day event at Veterans Plaza

American Legion Post 66 and VFW Post 8870 will host a Veterans Day ceremony at Edmonds Veterans Plaza on Nov. 11 at 2 p. m. Legion Post Commander Dan Mullene and VFW Post Commander Duane Bowman will lead the event, which aims to honor local veterans. City Councilmember Vivian Olson will attend as a representative of Edmonds and a veteran herself, having served in the U.

S. Air Force from 1989 to 1994. "The City of Edmonds and our local community have always supported our veterans," Bowman stated. The ceremony provides an opportunity for community members to express their gratitude for veterans' sacrifices. The plaza is located at 250 5th Ave.
