Logan Squares The Walk In Bar Temporarily Closes For Remodel

Chicago, ILLocal News

The Walk In cocktail bar, located at 2727 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Logan Square, has closed for renovations after nearly a decade of operation. Owner Esam Hani indicated the bar will reopen in about six weeks, featuring updates like new bathroom tile, a revamped back bar, and fresh paint. The renovations aim to create a more lounge-like atmosphere while maintaining the bar's simplicity.

Hani plans to adjust the drink menu to offer a wider selection of cocktails, liquors, and a more curated draft beer list. Patrons will also have the option to order food from The Harding Tavern, Hani's nearby restaurant, as The Walk In does not serve food. A notice about the closure can be found on the bar’s doors and website. Hani's investment in the remodel reflects a commitment to enhancing the local nightlife experience. The changes are expected to attract both existing patrons and new customers looking for a refreshed bar environment.
