Downtown Bellingham bar Ramble Tamble to close at the end of June

Bellingham, WALocal News

Ramble Tamble, a bar and music venue in downtown Bellingham, will close for an indefinite hiatus at the end of June, according to a social media post from the owners. Opened nearly two years ago, the venue has hosted a diverse range of weekend performers and touring bands. The owners expressed that executing their original vision for the space has become increasingly difficult. However, shows scheduled for the rest of the month will still occur, with additional acts to be announced. Weeknight events, including bluegrass, open mic, and “Wednesdays are Dead” nights, will also continue as planned.

Ramble Tamble aimed to create a vibrant local music scene, contributing to community engagement. Its closure may impact local musicians and patrons who frequented the venue. The announcement highlights the challenges faced by small businesses in maintaining their vision amidst evolving circumstances.
