Auburn Symphony unveils 2025-26 Summit Season with new works and fan favorites

The Auburn Symphony Orchestra (ASO) announces its 2025–26 season, titled “The Summit Season,” featuring a mix of powerful symphonic works and celebrated talents. The season opens on October 12, 2025, with a concert titled This Beautiful Earth, featuring conductor Wesley Schulz and guitarist Jiji performing works by Gabriela Lena Frank and Mendelssohn. A notable highlight will be the world premiere of It Stands Alone by Stephen Lias, honoring Mount Rainier National Park's 125th anniversary, scheduled for March 29, 2026. The Holiday Spectacular on December 8 will feature vocalist Jimmie Herrod and a festive array of holiday classics. On January 25, 2026, violinist Rachel Lee Priday will perform in Joyful Triumph, which includes Prokofiev’s Symphony No.

5. The season also includes Night at the Oscars on February 21, showcasing iconic film scores. The grand finale on May 3, 2026, will feature Mozart's Requiem alongside Golijov's Oceana. Concerts will be held at both the Auburn Performing Arts Center and the Federal Way Performing Arts & Event Center.
