Auburn Symphony Orchestra names Gabi Galloway as next Executive Director

The Auburn Symphony Orchestra appointed Gabi Galloway as its next Executive Director, effective January 2026. Galloway succeeds Rachel Perry, the outgoing Executive Director, and currently serves as the Symphony's Individual Giving Director. She expressed her vision to expand programs and strengthen community connections. Board vice president Kevin Paustian noted Galloway's impressive impact and dedication to the organization. Galloway holds a degree from the California Institute of the Arts and has significant experience in arts education and nonprofit administration.

Her previous roles include leadership at the Texas Center for Arts and Academics, where she developed new arts programs. The Symphony's 29th season, named "The Summit Season," includes performances celebrating nature and resilience, with a major event, the Holiday Spectacular, set for December 8. Upcoming highlights involve the world premiere of a multimedia work honoring Mount Rainier National Park's 125th anniversary.
