Garage fire damages multiple units in Auburn, firefighters prevent spread

On June 10, 2025, firefighters from the Valley Regional Fire Authority tackled a garage fire in Auburn, located in the 800 block of 45th Street NE. The fire damaged four garage units and scorched the siding of a nearby apartment building. First responders arrived to find heavy flames engulfing a detached garage structure and worked quickly to extinguish the blaze, preventing further damage to adjacent properties. Fire officials reported no injuries and commended the crews for their effective response. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
