The next day, they treated a gunshot victim at Sounder Station, demonstrating the urgent need for emergency medical services in the community. A juvenile male suffered significant head injuries after falling from a moving vehicle on May 28, which required immediate transport to Harborview Medical Center. VRFA firefighters also quickly extinguished a car fire in a grocery store lot, thanks to bystanders’ initial efforts.

Furthermore, they responded to an aid call for a man injured during an assault and another for a head injury from a fall. These incidents underscore the critical role of local fire authorities in managing emergencies and ensuring community safety.
