Four juveniles arrested after armed robbery at Auburn 7-Eleven

On August 12, 2024, Auburn Police apprehended four juveniles involved in an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven on Auburn Way N. The robbery unfolded around 7:20 p. m. , with three of the suspects brandishing weapons as they stole cash from the store and two patrons. They fled in a stolen Hyundai Elantra, triggering a pursuit initiated by the Kent Police Department, who tracked the stolen cash containing a GPS device.

Despite temporarily losing sight of the vehicle, law enforcement agencies, including the Tukwila Police Department and King County Sheriff’s Office, continued the search. The tracker enabled officers to quickly locate the suspects, who attempted to flee on foot but were apprehended without further incident. Remarkably, no injuries were reported during this dangerous encounter. The juveniles are now in custody as the investigation unfolds, highlighting ongoing concerns regarding youth crime in the area. This incident underscores the importance of community safety and law enforcement collaboration in addressing crime effectively.
