Four arrested following armed robbery at Auburn grocery store Tuesday

On April 15, 2025, Auburn Police arrested four suspects, including three juvenile males and one adult female, following an armed robbery incident at Haggen Grocery Store. The situation escalated when a store employee reported being threatened with a gun during a shoplifting attempt. The suspects fled the scene in a blue Audi A4, which was quickly tracked via city traffic cameras. Officers employed a Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT) maneuver to safely bring the vehicle to a halt, arresting all occupants without injury. Notably, one juvenile was found carrying three handguns, including a stolen firearm modified for fully automatic firing with extended magazines.

The police confirmed that a child was also in the vehicle, who was later released to a family member unharmed. All four suspects face charges for first-degree robbery, unlawful possession of firearms, and possession of a stolen firearm. Auburn Police commended the teamwork involved in the operation, which is currently under review by detectives.
