The Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) was active from April 7 to April 13, 2025, responding to a variety of emergency calls in Auburn and Lakeland Hills. Among the notable incidents was a commercial structure fire on April 8, where firefighters faced challenges from partial building collapse and law enforcement activity. Their prompt action prevented damage to neighboring businesses, showcasing the effectiveness of coordinated emergency response. On April 7, VRFA responded to a heart attack involving an elderly male, who was transported to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center. Another significant call came on April 9, when a 39-year-old male was found with a head injury at Green River College; he was treated and transferred to Valley Medical Center.

The VRFA also assisted an elderly female requiring a lift assist, who was referred to the CARES Team for follow-up support. Additionally, a vehicle fire on Highway 167 demonstrated the ongoing challenges that first responders face in the community. These incidents reflect the essential services provided by the VRFA and the community's reliance on their expertise during emergencies.
