Three arrested in connection with February homicide of Auburn teen

Auburn Police have successfully arrested three suspects in relation to the murder of 18-year-old McKinnley Williams, who tragically lost his life on February 4, 2025. The first two arrests included a 15-year-old juvenile and 18-year-old Zaire Orr, who were taken into custody on March 14, 2025. Following this, a 17-year-old juvenile was apprehended on April 3, 2025. All three suspects now face serious charges of first-degree murder and first-degree robbery, reflecting the gravity of the crime. The Auburn Police Department stated that this case has been a top priority, thanks to the relentless efforts of their Detectives, SWAT Team, and Special Investigations Unit.

Their commitment has been crucial in ensuring accountability for those responsible for this heinous act. While police have yet to disclose further details regarding the motive or circumstances surrounding the murder, they have confirmed that they are not seeking any additional suspects at this time.
