The situation escalated into an armed robbery, with Williams tragically shot in the head while trying to escape.

The 17-year-old, unharmed, called 911 immediately and attempted to aid Williams, who died from his injuries the next day. Additionally, a 16-year-old accomplice has been charged with first-degree murder, highlighting the serious nature of youth involvement in violent crime. Both suspects could face life in prison if convicted, highlighting the severe consequences of their actions.
