On March 8, 2025, Auburn’s Postmark Center for the Arts will host its monthly Second Saturday programs from 12-4 p. m. , featuring a variety of free, family-friendly events designed to engage the community. The day kicks off with a Rhythm & Rhymes Story Hour, combining interactive music from the Auburn Symphony Orchestra with storytime led by an Auburn librarian, making it an enriching experience for children aged 3-8. Families are encouraged to attend, and each child will receive a craft kit to extend the fun at home.

Following this, visitors can participate in a zine-making workshop, drawing inspiration from the musical storytelling of The Real Lady A, allowing for personal expression through writing and art. The highlight of the afternoon is a performance by The Real Lady A, titled "Welcome to the Porch," which promotes unity and celebrates shared musical heritage in a front porch-style setting. This event is supported by the Kiwanis Club of Auburn, emphasizing the significance of community collaboration in arts initiatives. By offering diverse programming, the Postmark Center for the Arts plays a vital role in fostering creativity and cultural appreciation in Auburn. Attendees can expect a day filled with joy, learning, and artistic exploration.
