Auburn Police, Valley SWAT arrest suspect with multiple felony warrants, loaded firearm

Auburn Police, in collaboration with the Valley SWAT team, arrested a suspect with multiple felony warrants at the Seasons at Lea Hill apartment complex on December 6, 2024. This operation followed the suspect's identification on December 5, when police conducted vehicle and crime database checks that revealed his extensive criminal history, including charges of first-degree robbery and unlawful possession of a firearm. The police established a three-hour surveillance operation at the suspect's apartment complex, ultimately leading to his arrest as he exited his residence. Officers apprehended the suspect without incident, ensuring the safety of the surrounding community. During the arrest, a loaded firearm was found on the suspect, further complicating his legal situation.

In addition to local warrants, he was also wanted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF). He was booked into SCORE Jail, facing multiple felony charges, including an additional count for unlawful possession of a firearm. This operation underscores the importance of inter-agency cooperation in addressing crime and enhancing public safety in Auburn.
