Auburn Police, Valley SWAT arrest suspect with multiple felony warrants, loaded firearm

Auburn Police, alongside the Valley SWAT team, arrested a suspect on December 6, 2024, at the Seasons at Lea Hill apartment complex, who was wanted for several serious felony crimes. The investigation began the previous day when officers identified the suspect through thorough vehicle checks and crime databases. After conducting a three-hour surveillance operation, the suspect was taken into custody without incident when he left his apartment. During the arrest, officers found a loaded firearm on him, which led to an additional charge of unlawful possession of a firearm. The suspect had multiple felony warrants, including first-degree robbery and an escape from community custody.

He was booked into the South Correctional Entity (SCORE) Jail, emphasizing the collaborative efforts of local law enforcement. Police praised the operation, stating, “A job well done by everyone involved! ” This successful arrest reflects the community's ongoing commitment to public safety and crime reduction in Auburn.
