The investigation began the previous day when officers identified the suspect through thorough vehicle checks and crime databases. After conducting a three-hour surveillance operation, the suspect was taken into custody without incident when he left his apartment. During the arrest, officers found a loaded firearm on him, which led to an additional charge of unlawful possession of a firearm. The suspect had multiple felony warrants, including first-degree robbery and an escape from community custody.

He was booked into the South Correctional Entity (SCORE) Jail, emphasizing the collaborative efforts of local law enforcement.
