Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) handled multiple emergency calls between October 27 and November 2, 2025, showcasing their vital role in community safety. On October 27, firefighters successfully assisted a mother in labor, delivering her baby before transporting both to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further care. The following day, they responded to a patient showing signs of possible sepsis after a medical procedure, ensuring timely treatment before transport to UW Medical Center. An automatic fire alarm at a hotel on October 29 revealed smoke from an overheated elevator motor, which firefighters mitigated by securing power and ventilating the area.
