Auburns 60th annual Veterans Parade to honor service on Saturday, Nov. 8

Auburn will honor military veterans with its 60th annual Veterans Parade on Saturday, Nov. 8, beginning at 11 a. m. on Main Street. The parade, one of the largest west of the Mississippi, will feature a flyover by a UH-1H "Huey" helicopter.

Spectators will enjoy a variety of participants, including antique military vehicles, ROTC units, and over 15 marching bands. Organizers encourage attendees to arrive early, bring folding chairs, and prepare for a patriotic experience. A community breakfast will be held at the Auburn Senior Activity Center from 7 a. m. to 9 a.

m. , costing $12 per person. Additionally, a remembrance ceremony will take place at Veterans Memorial Park prior to the parade. The city emphasizes the importance of courteous parking practices in local neighborhoods.
