Family offering 10,000 reward for stolen dog last seen near Auburn - Auburn Examiner

Auburn, WALocal News

A South King County family is offering a $10,000 reward for the safe return of their stolen dog, Indy, a 6-year-old female Boxer. She was taken from the family’s Enumclaw property on September 18, 2025, while the owners were away for about three hours. Owner Dave Morin believes someone entered their gated 8-acre property and took Indy, who is known for her gentle demeanor. “Indy is as sweet of a dog as you could ever have,” Morin said, underscoring the emotional toll of her disappearance. The family’s other dog, who is less friendly, remained unharmed, raising concerns about the motives behind the theft.

The reward reflects the family's desperation to reunite with Indy, who is brindle colored with a short tail. The incident has drawn attention within the local community, emphasizing the bond between pets and their families. The Morin family hopes that sharing their story will encourage anyone with information to come forward.
