During the week of September 29 to October 5, 2025, Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) responded to multiple emergencies in Auburn. Firefighters attended to a woman who suffered injuries from slipping in her flooded apartment on September 29, where they also managed the water supply issue. On October 2, they evaluated three patients involved in a two-vehicle collision, with two requiring further medical attention at MultiCare Auburn Medical Center. A stovetop fire on October 3 prompted a quick response, resulting in the rescue of a dog and two unharmed cats. VRFA assisted Airlift Northwest on October 4 by setting up a landing zone for a woman who fractured her femur after falling off a horse.

Additionally, on October 5, they treated a man in his 20s who accidentally shot himself in both legs, ensuring he received proper care. The incidents highlight the ongoing demand for emergency services in the region. VRFA's proactive responses underscore their commitment to community safety and well-being.
