Auburn, WALocal News

Auburn will host a series of Town Halls this fall to promote community engagement, enabling residents to interact with Mayor Nancy Backus and city leaders. The "Community Conversations" series will take place from September 23 to October 29 at various locations, including schools and city venues. Each session, held from 6 to 8:30 p. m. , invites residents to share their ideas and questions about the city's future.

The first meeting is scheduled for September 23 at Evergreen Heights Elementary, followed by sessions at City Hall and other venues. Light refreshments will be provided to create a welcoming atmosphere for discussion. "Auburn is listening, and your voice matters," the city emphasized in its announcement. These sessions are essential for fostering public input and transparency in local governance. By connecting residents with city leaders, Auburn aims to strengthen community ties and encourage civic participation.
