A fatal crash on SR 18 near the Green River Bridge left one man dead and two others injured on Wednesday night. The Washington State Patrol reported the collision occurred around 8:12 p. m. when two vehicles were traveling westbound. One vehicle lost control, spun, and came to a stop facing the wrong way, resulting in a second vehicle crashing into it.

The driver of the first vehicle, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene. The two injured passengers were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. This tragic incident highlights the critical need for seatbelt use while driving. Local authorities are actively investigating the crash to determine all contributing factors.
