VRFA Blotter Accidents, infant revived after bathtub drowning, vehicle fires more
The Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) managed multiple emergency calls from August 25 to August 31, 2025, across Auburn and surrounding areas. One of the most critical incidents involved an infant who was found unresponsive in a bathtub; VRFA firefighters and King County Medic One revived the child before airlifting them to Seattle Children’s Hospital. In a separate event, firefighters responded to a two-car collision in Bonney Lake, treating a pregnant woman with abdominal pain before she was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital. Other calls included an adult female who fainted due to missed medication and a vehicle fire in Pacific, where firefighters extinguished a burning passenger vehicle.
The quick actions of VRFA not only provided immediate medical assistance but also ensured the safety of all involved. The incidents reflect the essential role of emergency services in the region, especially in urgent situations. With ongoing training and readiness, VRFA continues to meet the community's needs effectively. These responses highlight the importance of prompt emergency care in saving lives and managing public safety.
