The 2025 Poverty Bay Blues & Brews Fest is set for Saturday, Aug. 23, at Des Moines Beach Park, where blues music and craft beer will take center stage from 11 a. m. to 7 p. m.

Hosted by the Rotary Club of Des Moines and Normandy Park, the festival aims to raise funds for local causes, with 100% of net proceeds going to charity. Attendees can expect performances from acclaimed artists such as the Hank Shreve Band, Alison Joy Williams, and Joel Astley, enriching the event's entertainment value. The festival also boasts an impressive beer lineup from renowned Northwest breweries, enhancing its appeal to craft beer enthusiasts. Organizers predict ideal weather conditions, with sunny skies and temperatures around 82 degrees, promising a delightful outdoor experience.
