Auburn, WALocal News

South King County is set to delight residents with a lineup of free arts events this summer, promoting community engagement and local talent. The “Music in the Park” series at Marvista Park features performances every Sunday, attracting music lovers to the scenic venue. On July 23, Dacha Theatre presents “The Grown-Ups” at Van Doren’s Landing Park, exploring themes of change and leadership in a camp setting. Additionally, the “Kent Station Summer Sounds” and “Kids Summerstage” events offer accessible entertainment every week. Admission remains free for all performances, making the arts accessible to a wider audience.

Local artist Jahnvi Madan will perform her new piece at Mary Olson Farm, connecting her work to the area's agricultural history. These events not only enrich the cultural landscape but also support local artists and foster community ties. The initiative reflects a broader trend of prioritizing arts and culture in community planning.
