St. Pauls Hospital kicking off its 28th Annual Lights of Hope festival

St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation officially launched its 28th Annual Lights of Hope Thursday evening, with a fundraising target of $3. 7 million, matching last year’s efforts. Sheila Biggers, the foundation's president, highlighted the importance of the event in bringing comfort to patients who may feel isolated during the holidays. The festive display features thousands of lights and numerous activities for families, including opportunities to take photos with Santa and Mrs.

Claus, enjoy musical performances, and participate in a 50-50 raffle. The event begins at 6 p. m. , with the lights set to be illuminated at 6:55 p. m.

Donations can be made at lightsofhope. com, contributing to vital hospital research and equipment. This longstanding tradition not only raises critical funds but also reinforces community support for those in need. Volunteers, including engineers and construction workers, help set up the display, showcasing community involvement.
