The Vancouver Police Department arrested the 33-year-old male on August 29, and while charges have not yet been filed, the investigation remains active. Protective conditions bar the suspect from contacting victims or anyone associated with the theatre. Arts Club Executive Director Peter Cathie-White emphasized the organization’s commitment to employee safety, stating that the alleged actions are deeply troubling. Support services have been created for those affected, ensuring they receive the necessary assistance during this time.

The police investigation began in late August, prompting immediate action from the theatre company. Arts Club Theatre has not provided further comments as the investigation unfolds. The situation raises significant concerns about safety and privacy within the performing arts community.
