Surrey police confirm they are investigating shots fired at a home

The Surrey Police Service is investigating a shooting that occurred Saturday morning at a residence on 32nd Avenue, near 170th Street. Sgt. Tige Pollock confirmed that gunfire damaged the home's exterior and that the RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit is leading the investigation. Officers responded shortly after 8:30 a. m.

and have closed 32nd Avenue between 168th and 172nd streets for two to three hours to facilitate evidence collection. A heavy police presence has been reported in the area, raising concerns among local residents.
