Dave's Hot Chicken is preparing to open its first Vancouver location at 901 Granville St in early 2026. The franchise has over 320 locations worldwide and is expanding into British Columbia with additional branches in Victoria and Abbotsford. The Victoria restaurant is expected to open before the end of the year. The Vancouver site, formerly the Cinema Public House, will feature around 3,000 square feet of space adorned with the brand's iconic graffiti art and a local twist. John Bitove, who founded the Toronto Raptors, played a pivotal role in bringing the brand to Canada after a memorable visit to its Los Angeles location.

Dave's specializes in Nashville Hot Chicken, offering tenders and sliders with spice levels ranging from “No Spice” to “Reaper. ” The casual eatery also serves sides like kale slaw, mac and cheese, and fries. Following the openings in Victoria and Vancouver, the Abbotsford location is projected to debut in mid-2026.
