Man arrested after dozens of tires slashed in North Vancouver
A suspect has been arrested for slashing tires on 16 vehicles in North Vancouver’s Lynn Valley neighbourhood. The North Vancouver RCMP received reports of the vandalism occurring between October 25 and 26, primarily during daylight hours. Investigators identified the suspect through CCTV footage and arrested him Monday afternoon. Most affected vehicles were parked along Kirkstone Road, Viewlynn Drive, Lynn Valley Road, and Mountain Highway. Police described the tire damage as likely caused by a sharp object, and they suspect there may be unreported incidents.
A dedicated investigation team is actively reviewing the evidence collected. The suspect currently remains in custody as the investigation continues. Authorities urge anyone with information or video footage related to the incidents to reach out to the North Vancouver RCMP.
