2 in hospital after separate crashes in Richmond

Richmond Mounties are investigating two serious crashes that occurred Thursday morning, resulting in injuries to two drivers. The first crash happened on Alderbridge Way near No. 3 Road around 7:30 a. m. , where a westbound sedan struck a light pole, leaving the driver in critical but stable condition.

In a second incident around noon, a two-vehicle crash near No. 4 Road and Odlin Road sent one driver to the hospital with significant injuries. Both crash sites remain closed as officers from the Lower Mainland Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service conduct investigations. Alderbridge Way is closed in both directions between Minoru Boulevard and No. 3 Road, while No.

4 Road is closed between Cambie Road and Tomicki Avenue. Police have not provided an estimated timeline for reopening the affected roads.
