Applications open for new medical school at SFUs Surrey campus

The Simon Fraser University School of Medicine in Surrey is now accepting applications, marking a significant milestone for medical education in Western Canada. Premier David Eby announced that the first cohort would start classes in August 2026, following the anticipated accreditation. An interim space will host students until the permanent facility is completed in 2030, establishing a hub for health innovation.
